hit me up.
Short, vanity links for all your socials. Claim a handle, get memorable links like /you/in, /you/ig, /you/git — all under one roof.
What was this?
hmu.today let you claim a unique handle and generate vanity short links for every social profile you have. Instead of sharing linkedin.com/in/john-smith-80235h2, you'd share hmu.today/john/in. Simple, memorable, consistent.
The service ran from 2023–2024 with 91 users. This is a read-only archive preserving the top 10 most active profiles. The short links below still redirect to real social profiles.

How it worked
What made this different from Linktree?
Instead of one landing page, hmu gave you individual vanity URLs for each social — /ig, /insta, /instagram all worked. Share specific links, not just a page of links.
How did short links work?
Each social had a canonical alias and alternatives. LinkedIn was /in or /linkedin. Instagram was /ig, /insta, or /instagram. They all resolved to your actual profile URL.
Do these links still work?
Yes. The short links in this demo still redirect to the real social profiles. Try clicking any link on a handle's page.
